This unique ' scribe' fountain pen is coverd by hand with 200 year old Russian reindeer leather with a history to match.
This very limited edition of my 200 year old leather covered fountain pen has a solid hallmarked silver cap and will be individually numbered 1/24 to 24/24
A solid 18ct gold medium Schmidt nib is fitted to this limited edition pen.
I use the fountain pen technology of Schmidt for the nib and inkflow system. Each pen is fitted with a converter that enables filling from bottled ink, alternatively a standard ink cartridge can be used.
The solid silver cap has an internal thread that screws firmly in place but it does not 'post' onto the pen. The hallmarks are laser engraved by the Birmingham Assay office. The hallmark is your guarantee of the quality of the silver.
My maker's mark CDH is registered in Birmingham and are the initials of my full name Christopher David Hayward.
